My favorite book growing up!! so fun to revisit 🤗

I noticed that the tone of the story has changed a bit. Now, we can actually see where the book is going, it's a journey about self discovery. We see what's happening in the present, and we see how the past mirrors that. Everything has an explanation, like what tulips mean the Sal, what the farm meant to Sal. There's a reason Sal loved the farm so much, it reminds her of her old life, and how things used to be.

So far, I like that nothing much has happened in the plot, but it's not boring at all. It feels like Sal is taking your hand and leading you through her life. It's not trying to be relatable, it's trying to say something, so it's a window book. All of this is very specific, so not a lot of people can relate.
