[nurse] I'm proud to say no one has ever died in my hands.

And I see now how the translated version is boring. "The course itself wasn't very interesting. The trainer just talked a lot and seem to forget about the people he was supposed to be training". I had a small laugh with this, while "Họ cứ nói liên hồi mà không chú ý gì đến ngưòi học" is just a normal sentence hence boring.

Call me being difficult but this is lousy translation "There are some perks with this job" being translated as "Công việc này cũng có nhiều điều đáng nói". Well, the way I see it, these are totally different meanings.

The more stories I read, the more pleasant surprise I have! Each story brought in different perspectives that I wasn't aware of before. Although I'm not sure if the stories are completely real or have mixed with fiction, it felt good reading them.

Artist "The price also depends on how much I like my painting. It's harder for me to let go of a painting if I really love it. On the other hand, if I don't like it, I trash it; I'll only sell works I'm satisfied with". 👌 Should we all need to have this attitude, regardless of whatever our works are?

Electronic Factory Worker in Houston "I just want them not to have to live the life their mother did. It's not a bad life, but it's an unfulfilled one." When all things considered, including the general consensus that living in US is supposed to be better, this piece of writing is deep!

I don't know why but I feel the original version is more objective and interesting. Although the translated one is smooth, its tone seems fake and boring.

One part about this job is the way city people tend to look at us with contempt. But the way I see it, even if they speak to us disrespectfully and make fun of us, it's not my problem. I enjoy my job, and I know that as long as I'm not cheating anyone, then no amount of scorn can change the value of who I am or what I do to make a living.

As I suspected it, in the original version the author has many more things to say as some paragraphs were left out in the translated version. It cost 6 times more to buy this version though :(
