third re-read within the space of a year. i’ve been asked to pick this up for class, but i would have been rereading it anyway. this time i’m focusing primarily just on the waste land and the four quartets, spending a week transcribing notes from my norton anthology of english literature, online lectures, christopher rick’s critical apparatus, pound’s original annotations, and alec guinness’ audiobook
