Status Updates From Reaper Restrained (The Reap...

This immediately drew me in and in the first 10-15 pages I was tearing up! It took me a bit but then I realized Ray/Reaper...she must have multiple personality disorder? I love that she's a badass. This is POV but it's interesting because it's not POV with Ray being the sole center all the time. So far I'm loving it and even at 56% and I'm still not certain who her 3 men are going to be!

Yeah... I'm not sure I'm feeling this story at this time.. maybe I'll return to it, maybe not.. I may just move onto the 2nd book instead, not sure yet.
Since I have all 4 books, I will attempt to read more.. Just not sure if or when I'll return to this 1ST book.

And it looks like the main girl of the story is "Reaper" not a guy.. (So I'm confused about who is the guy on the cover of the book).. Reaper has some SERIOUS intimacy and anger/split personality issues👀

I know that it's way early, still, (6%) but I'm having a hard time staying settled here with this 1st book.. I have no clue WTH is going on here.. I'm hoping I get accustomed to this Author's writing prose and the mystery surrounding this story soon🙏🏽 Granted I'm still only in the 2nd chap though.. Could I possibly just be a tad bit impatient??🤣

The author needs to consult with someone about how Americans actually talk. It’s just weird. The POV shifts between characters, a lot of them American, and even their thoughts don’t read as American. I’m sorry, it’s just really taking me out of the story.

I’m really liking this, but there is one thing annoying: all the Americans talk like they are from the UK. I know the author is British and the FMC and her bff are British, but they are in the US and everyone they come across seems to use British slang like calling friends “mates” and just wording things in not typically American ways

I cringed so unbelievably hard I couldn’t even read 5 pages. I literally skipped until I saw the scene was over.

This book is actually nonsense 😭 We are following the life of the main character but I’ve already read at least 10 different povs. It’s a bit difficult to keep track of who is who ngl.
