The speech is quite choppy and somewhat stilted. There is a fair bit of crass language...I'm not sure how else to describe it but I'm not a huge fan of the 'c' word. Elle seems a bit ignorant of the society in which she lives. So am I. What the heck is going to happen other then a hunt and a feast? Hhhhmmmm. You would think that if they have guests most full moons then they would be more organised for them.

Ok hardly into the book and I already think Brandon is a complete bastard...I'm now on the look for redeeming qualities.
