Using a worldwide pandemic as a plot device to kill off one character is actually so sick and twisted and to top it all off, it’s uncreative. There were better ways to do this

I’m miserable and intrigued, but above all I’m horrified because what possesses a woman to include a sex scene in a letter to her unborn son??? I just don’t think this framing is necessary and the constant asides are annoying. Also, why so many characters and unnecessary details? This book needed so much more editing
