I find the changes in scenery interesting because it doesn't take place in just 3 areas it travels in multiple like tanes house, Rebecca's house, the new house the island, the town, the mall, the army base, etc, it has variety

don't trust the United states government

the dialogue is meant for dramatic effect but seems reasonable for the circumstances, the pacing can be confusing though

conflict type: character vs technology
in my book the characters are using technology to figure out messages sent from the future to the past
currently the main characters are fighting because the message they got told them not to let one of the trio go on a mission

the audience is people who like scientific fiction

2.5- im just not a fan of the pacing but I like the concept
