Status Updates From A Tattered Love

“Well that was strange. Dustin and I never spoke on the phone before really. I wonder if he is just missing me. Maybe Dustin is one lonely man and hopes that I fill that void.” This shit is becoming just plain painful!

Bed time! Will leave you with this awesome snippet - “I so wanted to take him right then. I was almost proud of myself for slowly letting him in my heart. I just hoped he would never break it.”

“I can’t lie I slightly missed him, too. I missed his touch; I missed how he always managed to make me feel good around him. I missed feeling whole.” She's literally been near him four times. When they met at the friends house. When he ordered lunch, then stalked her at the beach afterwards when she had sex with him. And then the volleyball on the beach... "Feeling whole" is a little extreme...

“Maybe she really does dig me” There's a gem like this on every page. Every. Damn. Page. I'm struggling !!

Oh shit. This shit just keeps getting better.... Haha. Meet 24 year old Dustin - “The next morning  I lay in bed just staring at the ceiling fan. I didn’t move, in fact, I stayed in bed just thinking.” I am now literally reading just to find the most cringeworthy excerpt that I can find... As I read. Lol

“Riley, do you ever go through a life situation and feel like certain things are meant to be? Like you must do something because if you don’t take a risk or the chance at an opportunity, you would regret it later?” Now he's getting all philosophical.... *groaning*

Chapter 3. “Every time I see him, the more I notice just how hot he is.” It's the third time. The third time she's seen him. Shit. This is gonna be one long ass read....

“I didn’t drink all night. I was telling myself I wouldn’t and I gave in because of being frustrated about what to do about Riley." The Riley he only just met? And barely spoke to? These characters are incredibly immature.

How old are these people? “She was perfect, she was just my type, and I hoped I could be her type. She seemed to be a bit timid. Her body was smoking hot, though.”

Oh, so-so, mediocre, and non-exciting book: WHY CAN'T I QUIT YOU? I really don't know why I keep going with this blah book. Maybe I have to know if the ending makes it worth it. *bored*
