"I expect nothing more in my wife than my wife will find in me---Perfection" (23)
these stories are so silly and I love them

3.5. I honestly liked it; from the silliness of The Beautiful Cassandra to the ending of the story of Catherine when she finds out Edward has left. Honestly...I feel sad and kind of empty now that the story is over.

I am finding this book to be delightfully charming; it plays into a kind of absurdity that I love. In the short story The Beautiful Cassandra, the main character, unable to pay the person who drove her, puts her bonnet on his head and just runs away. What???
