I was most intrigued by Derek getting arrested along with all of Ally’s personal processions. With the album of her 4 year old and the Fed investigation, I would have thought she would have been questioned or the adopted mother questioned. That would have been dramatic!

I wasn’t that into this one. It’s a summer love turned true love. with sex, sec, sex! Good Lord. I was honestly disgusted over the amount of sex in this novel. Every trip out or adventure or endeavor the couple took lead to sex; each chapter had sex. Too overdone and wanted more dramatic elements in their relationship other than “well he must think this or she thinks that”

You don’t hear or interact much with Ally but n book one. So the starting scene of her working at a strip club vs. Starbucks was quite shocking. It’s explained why, but definitely wasn’t expecting the novel to start off the way it does. A lot to still learn about Ally, her past and family

Eh.... it's ok. Would probably be better if I wasn't listening to the audiobook.
