Status Updates From The Revenant Road

The most ridiculous scene I've read in a bit. Die!-get hit by bus, Die!- then by taxi Die!-then by truck. WTH?

Still sticking by what I said at 11% - characters aren't likable, and the editors let in quite a few errors in writing. I've been alternating between surfing the 'net and reading this, which says to me that it's not all that interesting. There are quite a few "action/bloody" scenes, which I think he's trying to use to save the story - make it interesting. So far, not liking it.

So, for a "halfway to my 25% checkpoint" checkpoint... so far, I'm meh about this. The writing is a bit ...nonstandard, I guess. Not *bad*, but written in such a way that it throws me out of the story. The main character is a bit of a jerk. In fact, *all* of the character so far, main or not, have been jerks. Hopefully, there will be something *likable* soon.
