I think it's quite commendable on how clear and structured Trotsky's vision for a socialist country is. I myself went into the introduction with a critical view, because what he describes – art being accessible to everyone – has befell an extent even the capitalist society, but his vision permeates even the present, where in the status quo art is done on the basic and indulgent level as a form of consumption...
