Status Updates From God of Clay

Despite the overly long chapters, and Clay’s cowardly demeanor and Doto’s uppity arrogance grinding my gears (I get why this is the case, but still), I’m digging the discussions they’re having with each other about their spiritual beliefs. Makes for interesting commentary on the interpretation of culture and how it shapes perceptions of people. Clay and Doto are finally respecting each other too.

Starting to see what people mean regarding the “sexual tension” between Clay and Doto.

Now we’re going somewhere…

I’m early into this, but I’m rooting for Laughing Dog and his ideas for forging one’s own path in life instead of over reliance and cowardly submission to deities that don’t grant you every wish you ask for.
