Status Updates From Make Me (Make or Break, #1)

I think I'm finally understanding this book a little bit better. I have to say, douche canoe, epic. It reads as if the girl is writing in her diary. You know how we say dear diary, and then we basically dump our souls. As though someone is actually reading it? That's what it feels like.

Trust me when I say this book is not without its errors. Spelling, grammar, just a bunch of things I would fix.

LMFAO the author has just won my heart. She used a saying that I use almost daily in conversation. Especially when I'm pissed off. Douche canoe. Way to go amanda. I love that saying. That's slang. Now that I've been able to rewire my brain back to before I was able to process some emotions, I am able to understand the writing a little bit better. But holy God my face lit up when I saw that slang.

First I'd like to note, I'm guessing where I am in the book because for some reason Goodreads is not picking up the page count. I'm only on page 45 lol.

That being said I have just hit chapter 5 and the opening line is, "the thing about me is, I don't process things like I should". Bingo! now we understand why there's no reflection.

I really want to like this story. However to me it feels like the narrator is not a narrator. But it dictator. Even they are not feeling their story. There is no emotion. There's no connection. As you all know I have already committed to reading it, so I will read it to the end. Stay tuned

So far, what it seems to be, or better sounds like, if that makes sense, is the story is coming from a 17 year old girl but it doesn't sound like it. It sounds like it's being dictated. Not narrated. Now my question is do you know the difference lol.

So far So good. It's almost similar to The Fallen Crest Series.

I really wish this book was dual POV, We know what Paisley is thinking, Just want to know Channing's POV

I kinda think Paisley is immature one minute and not the next.
