Huh. Well, the additional short story was interesting, but also what was the point?

Finished the main--this also includes a short story "The Bloodletter's Prayer" which I think is set in the same world.

Have some mixed thoughts on the main book, but I think I mostly enjoyed it. But time will tell before I finish the other story.

Hmmm...Not sure how to feel about that. On the one hand, it shows just how amoral Kast and Siris are which they have been since the very beginning and yay for actual amoral characters for once, not that safe wishywashy "grey-morality" crap.

On the other hand, again, I felt like Bunn could've done more with that other character. Conflicted.

Not sure how to feel about that character's death; it felt like Cullen Bunn could've done something more with them.

However, Siris had virtually no reaction to it.

Oh? Is the Crone connected to the Razing?

Siris really has a desire to kill people and her and Kast came to the convent for a reason. But why? My question to both of those observations.

Very interesting start. Excellent, sparse prose and pacing. Encountered a grammar error though; it happens.
