The author does not understand the development process . The architect should be hired in the very beginning. The building inspector has nothing to do with anything until after you get your permits using your architectural design!

Most people will not be bothered by this but since I am constantly trying to educate the public on the development process, this stands out to me!

Even though this is a mafia romance, this is hitting all the cozy hallmark vibes. Everytime something cheesy and ridiculous happens my heart just gets happy and I kick my feet a little.
