The beginning chapter being 2303 confused the hell out of me...especially since I just read Serpent's Among Ruins (set in 2311). I had to read it, then into the next chapter, then went back and reread it. I really don't understand the NEED for that chapter to have been the first chapter.
Other than that, the story is perilous. Ugh. Not sure how they're going to get out of the pickle that they are currently in.
