A lot of historical fact in this book that I’m not familiar with, or can’t remember from school and it felt more like a bunch of dot points in some areas than an actual novel but all in all I enjoyed it.

I’ve forgotten how much I enjoy this book. It really gets me all emotional, swinging between anger and sorrow. Even after 30 years this book moves me.
