Captivating start, but one really needs to follow the show for this fanfic, since it skips quickly through scenes and time, assuming the reading is getting the emotional and experiential references. Which makes it a weak standalone story, hard to commit to.

Fiiiinally something happened to almost make me cry, kept wondering if that would happen. And really glad I put off continuing through the Sam+Dad confrontation/fight for last night because...reasons. Trying to join an online course with teacher provided code only to encounter problems = raaaaaage. Thankfully it's an error on teacher's part. Hopefully it gets fixed or I'm gonna have to drop the class.
