Sounds just like my asshole father. Always pissed me off when he tried to parent me...as if he had any right.
I'm getting a little heated while reading the parts with KJ's dad because.....it's really relatable. That's basically first 16 years of life. I .... can feel the weight in my chest.
But I like this book so far and maybe it's bad but I like seeing this unhealthy dynamic portrayed, if only because I lived it
