Status Updates From Big Nate Makes a Splash

this book is funny, with awsome little comic strips.
good for fans of "diary of a wimpy kid."
very engaging and sucked me in from the first read.

The main character which is Nate is going thru middle school and is trying to be popular and relevant which isn't working out for him. He has a few friends from school but he doesn't treat them like friends.Hes also jealous cause his crush is dating his old friend and he gets mad and sad about it

The book is pretty much just a bunch of big Nate comic strips but my favorite one was where Nate had a big game the next day. He also had an assignment the next day and his basketball coach is his substitute for the class where the assignment is due. So he asked his coach/teacher if he can play the game instead and he ended up sitting on the bench the whole game while doing the assignment.
