Fretted. Negative connotation because the characters were worried and anxious. Torn. This also has a negative connotation because it means, in this context, to tear something in your body. Stolen. This is also a negative connotation because it means things were taken away from you that were important

One word I chose was Crazy. It has a negative connotation because it is the word he uses to describe his bad flashbacks of war. Another word I chose was 'horrific,' which normally has a negative connotation, but in this case, it takes on a positive connotation because the author loves the thrill of war. He describes the war as horrific & how it sucks, which also has a positive connotation because he says he loves it

The style of this book is a tiny bit academic because we learn about the experience of being in Iraq and disarming bombs, as well as what it is like to have an enemy within from fearful encounters in war.

The style is informational, and I'd say it's more of an informal style. There's not much humor, and his language informs the reader of his struggles

The style is informal, the tone is emotinal and scared, the languge used makes it more relaitble for the reader and is more understandiple for the reader to learn what he is going through.

In a lot of the more heartfelt, happy moments, there are a lot of the time also things that are reminders of how the author is affected by PTSD.

The author's style is informal. He uses a lot of slang and dialogue in his writing. A lot of his writing is the author's thoughts in his head. The tone is very intense, as he is nonstop doing things in the midst of war with no time for breaks or pauses. The language he uses influences the audience by showing the mind of a person at war, with no time for resting and living or dying.

I think the style is informal but I think there are also some parts that are formal as well. This book is very cognitive overwhelming because this man's brain is battling with him and making him have flashbacks all of the time.

I think the reason for his writing this is to tell the story of his life and to kind of embrace it instead of putting it aside each and every day.

His goal with the book is to tell his story about being in the military. something that might get in his way are memories from when he was deployed.

I think the author's main goal is to get rid of his 'Crazy" feeling. He feels restless, and when he is on a run, his main obstacles are his brain. His brain can't shut off at night, and he can't stop thinking about flashbacks to the previous war.

His main goal right now is just to live a normal life. He cant really do that though because he keeps getting flashbacks from his past in the war. It is an obstacle in his life that he is trying to get rid of by going on runs to try to forget about it all.

right now in the flashback his goal was to become an astronaut, but because of his poor eyesight, the Air Force lied to him.

I think the author of this story Brian Castner is qualified to write this book because he is writing about his experiences. It tells of his experience in Iraq, how he got to where he was, and how he got this Crazy thing that haunts him every moment.

Brian Castner is incredibly credible as the book talks about his experience with how war affects people during and after being in war.

I think this author is credible because he shares his personal experiences. Some may say that he is unreliable because he is crazy and has unhealed trauma. But his details are so specific that it is obvious it only happes to one person

They are a credible writer for this topic as he is going through what he had experinced first hand when deployed in the army and his experinces after.
