His main goal right now is just to live a normal life. He cant really do that though because he keeps getting flashbacks from his past in the war. It is an obstacle in his life that he is trying to get rid of by going on runs to try to forget about it all.

I think the style is informal but I think there are also some parts that are formal as well. This book is very cognitive overwhelming because this man's brain is battling with him and making him have flashbacks all of the time.

I think the author who wrote this book (Brian Castner ) is a credible source because he has experienced this first hand so he can tell the truth about it instead of just what he has read about or heard other people talking about.

I chose this book because learning about our veterans and how they are feeling would be interesting to me. It would help me understand how to talk to them about certain things or even what things i should not bring up at all in our conversations. It would especially help me talk to the veterans at my work as a CNA in a nursing home.
