Status Updates From Consider the Lobster: And O...

It's interesting to read David Foster Wallace's thinking and I genuinely enjoyed a few of his essays (particularly Tracy Austin, Big Red Son & The View from Mrs. Thompson's). I can see why people like him but I can truly only take so much of his SNOOTitude. Might finish later.

Annotazione: per quanto una persona sia brava a scrivere, a quanto pare c’è bisogno che almeno un pochino ciò di cui scrive mi interessi… anche quella recensione sulla guida all’uso dell’americano moderno poteva durare un pelo meno.

Pensavo che il capitolo sugli oscar del porno durasse meno (sic!), non avevo idea che si potesse parlar tanto di questo evento… né che potessi scrivere queste parole seriamente prima o poi nella vita.
