I quite like the Buddhist perspective that this book lays out (but a hearty "booo don't do that" for using quotes out of Coleman Barks's version of Rumi). AA's "acceptance is the answer" influenced me greatly. The "Trance of unworthiness" is a great concept. The discussion of pain I found useful and mirrors the understanding of pain I gained over the past few years as a chronic pain patient.
