"Timelock" by Davian Aw - Might be the story of the year. Fucking A.
A story about a "timelock", a sort of bubble you can project around a space where time stops, and the houseparty next-door that's using one.
And a whole lot more.
Fascinating use of 2nd person and environmental storytelling. This reminds me of stumbling on those fucked up vaults from Fallout.

"Tigers for Sale" by Risa Wolf - Told from the POV of a space station AI and a sort of galactic lighthouse keeper responsible for guarding space. Really enjoyed this one, can't talk too much about it for risk of spoilers.

"Estivation Troubles" by Bo Balder - Really touching, nostalgic story for a very specific time in your life. Reminds me a lot of one of my favorite Le Guin stories "A Week in the Country". Feelings of coming back home from college for the final time before you shoot your life off into the unknowable yonder of adult life. Chest tightening. Subtle worldbuilding. A treat!
