Status Updates From Blood Burden (The Magelands...

I was obsessed with Magelands Epic, Origins and Eternal Siege. Sadly, really struggling to get into Empire. The world building is great as always, but the characters are missing the mark for me. Disliked Lahnos through most of book 1/2 (though admittedly this has changed). This book: Lara/DW and Bauchlie read like children. Any scenes with them, I’m gritting my teeth and pushing through. 16%, close to DNF-ing..
