I think the title One Man Guy by Michael Barakiva shows the main character’s struggle with identity. At first, he feels pressure to fit expectations, but over time, he learns to accept who he really is.

I relate to the character Becky because they likes to spend a lot of money, and I relate to that because my parents had to cut me off from spending money for March because I spent way too much in the past few months.

Michael barakiva made this book about him a true story about him and his life as a armenian and how he has very strict parents no matter what and a quote that stuck out to me was "You just don't get it don't you?" And it makes me think that his friend and Alek are in two different worlds when it comes to his parents and he has to choose to be free and listening to his parents.
