It’s good, I just think the book is way longer than it should be. The first book in a sci-fi series should be to establish how the world and different species work. However, I don’t think this book needs to be nearly 600 pages 🥴 there’s a lot of fat that could’ve be trimmed off in the extended atmospheric descriptions. Ima stick beside it & see this thru tho

I am SO glad this all came out so early. I hate when the whole book is spent with secrets festering. This is so much better. It’s all out right from the start so they can actually do something about it

This is what I’m talking about. He doesn’t have a proper mouth or face for a human. I’m imaging the weirdest looking attempts at kissing and now he’s giving her oral but one jaw is on her stomach and the other on her ass?? That’s too inhuman for me

Kinda annoyed at the premise. Shoshana could easily tell any of the aliens about being extorted and threatened into stealing from them. Their whole job is to protect humanity after all, so why not take advantage of the bigger badder, more powerful aliens and get their protection from the human governments? Seems like the best solution for her

So I have a problem with him being a Ratchi. They were described in the entire Domini series as being dinosaur-like or lizard-type creatures. They’re not humanoid and their faces are so reptilian, they can’t express emotion hardly at all outside of their eyes (we know this from interactions with the Ratchi leader). So why is this species a love interest now?
