I love them. I love that we are getting the whole best friend part of them like we are this far in and nothing has happened and I’m so happy and enjoying it

I was perplexed why I hadn’t read any books by this author since I love me a hockey romance.
And at 18% with my attention wandering, I started to question..is it me?
So went back and looked at all their books.
And I realized that three of my DNF were by this author.
I’m going to try to push through this but…
Right now I’m on the struggle bus.

Yeah no I'm not convinced, Jonah tells Felix how important he is to him (which I assume has happened multiple times in their years of friendship) and Felix suddenly realises he wants to kiss the guy after 25 years of knowing each other? Seriously?

Also another thing is it seemed like Felix really wanted things to work out with Whitney and after the breakup and rehab and not doing great in hockey etc is just feeling lonely+desperate for company+somewhat going through a midlife crisis so I have a feeling I'm not gonna be convinced when he falls in love with Jonah.

Find it kinda annoying when they are clearly setting up a character for a future book in the series. Like very unnecessary background info about a new character.
