The slow burn was burningggg oh my gosh this just bumped it up half a star

I seem to need the writing style has changed into a more mature writing. For example, “I slide my hand across her back and find that there are indeed strings attached to her—physical ones not merely metaphorical strings, so grins lace up the back of her chest criss, crossing into the high collar.” She shows it more and doesn’t explain it

They finally kissed!!!

I love how the author differentiates the two different countries in this book. It is set in two places, and they are two completely different worlds. I am enjoying the many scenes of scenery and culture.

It is kind of getting boring, but they are definitely falling for each other now 😝🤫🤫

I can’t wait to see how the wedding works out, lol.

I’m not really loving the writing style. It’s like an essay that says, “in this essay we will talk about ____.” It’s like that when introducing the characters. Ex. My older brother had been more like a parent to me; he and his wife are having a baby; Gloria’s older brother, Paulo is serious.

I wish she would show us this and not tell us.

Oh my gosh I’m 2% in and this stranger asks the fmc to marry her!!!! I am intrigued 👀👀👀👀
