So far I am loving this book. Some parts remind me of my marriage and having to give grace for expectations ai put on my husband. I ca be quick to look at where he is lacking when I am just as to blame for it. I can’t wait to see how they end up and can move forward. I am definitely going to try some of the techniques given in this book to rekindle aspects of my marriage!

Brooks goes to the marriage counselor alone. There is only one other mention of visiting this counselor - when they both are trying to fix their marriage, but the counselor says they’ve been coming to him for moths when Brooks mentions sitting there like he did moths ago… there are so many inconsistencies like this in the book.

There are so many writing errors in this book. For example Mrs. Evert comes carrying a cobbler and find a minute later she “shoves her hands on her hips.” Did she drop the cobbler to put her hands on her hips?
