Status Updates From The New Oxford Annotated Bi...

I'm at 40% now, but this is 40% of the 66 books of the protestant canon, not including the Apocrypha. I'm going to read all of the Deuterocanonical books as well as the books only in the Ethiopian canon, but the website I'm using to track my progress only has the core 66 books, so I'm gonna go with 40%. My goal is to read all of The Hebrew Bible and Christian New Testament by the end of the year.

I’m getting there, slowly but surely. Didn’t realize how many emotions regarding my own upbringing this would evoke. Fascinating how many of these stories had been internalized and all-but-forgotten and then they pop up and you’re like, huh.
