I'm at 55% not counting the Apocrypha. It feels good to be half way through it, though I'm getting to Chronicles which I know covers a lot of the same stories as the books I've already read. I've seen a lot of people say Chronicles stopped their read through, but I don't think it will for me. If nothing else, the footnotes will give me lots of good info. Plus going back and forth between Hebrew Bible and NT helps.

I'm at 40% now, but this is 40% of the 66 books of the protestant canon, not including the Apocrypha. I'm going to read all of the Deuterocanonical books as well as the books only in the Ethiopian canon, but the website I'm using to track my progress only has the core 66 books, so I'm gonna go with 40%. My goal is to read all of The Hebrew Bible and Christian New Testament by the end of the year.
