I'm at 40% now, but this is 40% of the 66 books of the protestant canon, not including the Apocrypha. I'm going to read all of the Deuterocanonical books as well as the books only in the Ethiopian canon, but the website I'm using to track my progress only has the core 66 books, so I'm gonna go with 40%. My goal is to read all of The Hebrew Bible and Christian New Testament by the end of the year.

There's not a really great way to log reading the Bible on Goodreads. I feel like I should get more credit for reading 66 books (plus Apocrypha) but oh well. lol I'm finally reading it all the way through this year. Cover to cover. I'm almost exactly 33% done withe the Protestant canon, but then I have the Apocrypha, too. Reading my old trusty NOA Bible, NRSV that I've had for like ten years from a Bible as a Work of Literature class. (Also, to be clear, I am an atheist. I just like studying sacred texts, lol)
