Alright. I'm only on chapter 12, but the turn around of Thrain seems a little fast. Maybe I missed something? But I do not recall an emotional recognition from him about the truth of what it means to storm Strathclyde before his big uproar about if the Vyrgins are actually worth of an Vanirdottirs.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but that is really bugging me. Otherwise, I am fully enjoying the second book!!
