She’s been told that merpeople kill humans when in reality they mate with them, kidnap them to marry and occasionally accidentally kill them when fighting over them with each other. The world building was subpar just didn’t really grab me and I’m not sure I care enough to finish. I may try a different installment though

I thought I would like this maybe get a Ruby Dixon vibe from it. But unfortunately the magic is missing. I guess I didn’t feel the buildup enough. Mmc was there and she just wanted him right away because she was lonely. FMC is witch and Mmc is merman. He has claimed her but she doesn’t know and he keeps stealing her things and leaving her gifts.

Just starting this but once i finish i will have caught up with this entire series and then i’ll have to wait until 10/1/24 for the next novella and then 12/3/24 for the next novel AND MY BODY IS NOT READY god im about to have the most agonizing comedown from this week long starry-eyed headspace.
