it doesn’t fucking matter that cannon made this choice when he was a child and in pain. his dad made a mistake, it happens, but then he never fucking tried to fix anything. they knew where he went to school, they knew he played football. they could have showed up to campus, come to games, they could have kept trying. they should have been there for however long it look, until cannon knew he was wanted and loved.
