I feel like Freud working with kids is like a professor trying to teach geometry to first graders. Like, they’ll enjoy the shapes, but be confused as f*ck about the equations.
(And this is why the narrator of the other story went into medical rather than law, bc kids are sponges even when they don’t understand, and telling a kid about the oedipus complex etc is just… like that’s too big of a convo. Hold up)
