Extraordinary shorts. Slow reading necessary for me to process the complex, rich, myth-based metaphors. Last read: a superficially simple, apparently HFN-ish story about a pair of warring pirates marooned on Prospero's (Caliban's?) isle. Actually a tragedy of intelligence, strength & freedom overcome by literal and cultural colonialism, via tools of white cis-male privilege wielded by a deliberate narcissist.
