There’s just something about a victim refusing to let others be victimized that really scores high on my sense of justice meter. They could hide out, bury it, refuse all confrontation. But the fighter? They get my vote.

I started the series with Lake and Nova’s book because I’m the kind of reader who MUST read a series in order. No matter that these are essentially standalone novels. But it was Riggs and Ella’s book that brought me here.

And OMG do they ever deliver. I knew I’d love Riggs, but I’m IN LOVE with him. He’s quiet, reserved, and always watching. Always WANTING. Ella is so damn lucky.
