Status Updates From How I Killed the Universal Man

Page 65, two chapters in. I haven’t really read any sci fi in years but this book is bursting with all kinds of biomechanical freaky ideas and intersections with the body, that should frighten anyone. It’s fun to read. I picture Philip K Dick and Aeon Flux when I read this.

The people here appear shelled by their situation and everyone carries their own force field of pain. Space is pregnant with shock. There is no privacy and yet everyone is alone. No one moves well. Everything is sad and heavy and insular.
