Status Updates From The Bear's Reluctant Wolf (...

Just trying to get through it now. I'm totally put off reading the other two books in the series though.

Why do books try and make it seem like 'heroes' that are crude and vulgar are hot? It's one thing to talk dirty with a partner. But it's something else all together when a guy starts talking about body parts within minutes of meeting. Totally nasty, shows a real lack of class and a lack of respect for the person you're talking to & yourself.

"Ugh, he was the most arrogant male she had ever met." Hear hear. I was hoping for something so much better when I first 'met' Trace in the first book of the series. He just seems like an arrogant, inconsiderate, who're-ish asshole. It's going to take a LOT to redeem him enough for me to even kinda like him by the end of the book...

Why does the shy/reserved girl ALWAYS get talked into wearing some slutty outfit to go to a bar? Where she has a few and suddenly is all loose and as slutty as her outfit?

I need a little rest from the masters.. so I am reading bair and wofl shifter mating... how ever how this spunds its hot and cavemanish..and I like it... go Trace go... brake her resistence :P

Still enjoying this book.
