this book is really annoying bc like. this is a future world and the worldbuilding is SO DIFFERENT but they spend so much time discussing what happened in OUR world and its like? why r u explaining modern homophobia to me? i know? can u get back to ur genetically derived TENTACLES? but also the actual written worldbuilding is clunky as fuck like so clunky and Odd but ill suck it up i guess...
