DNF - The grammar in this hurts to read. I had to reread most of the paragraphs just to understand what the fuck the author was saying.

The sunrise was a ribbon of orange in the distance, a promise of pink and red at the very edge of the horizon as Eleanor, Nancy, and I made our way down toward the rockier shoreline, where the dark water rolled in and the air held a briny freshness, even with the breeze nipping at my nose.
