Status Updates From On Idolatry

"For albeit soldiers had come unto John, and had received the formula of their rule; albeit, likewise, a centurion had believed; still the Lord afterward, in disarming Peter, unbe**d every soldier."
That's a plain contradiction that could easily have been avoided by interpreting the rebuke of Peter differently.

It's very interesting that the magi that visited Christ went away by a route different from the one they came from. Tertullian thinks this symbolizes the changed ways of magi that met Christ.

On Moses' casting a bronze snake, Tertullian essentially says that God can decide that idol making is right in particular cases. I don't find that convincing.

I think I notice some iconoclasm.
