~ Is this really a form of lingo in the Southern United Stated o_O? I get the euphemism for "shaking [someone's] sugar tree", but I wonder what it is supposed to imply. Or is it open to interpretation? O_O. *Fascinated*.

There was a reason this book was still on my TBR - the blurb wasn't really calling to me. Now I started because I loved 'Boy Crucified' - but already this book is giving me problems. I don't like the voice of the MC and the first few chapters are already repetitive :(
