So considering how Renault County borders the sea, why can’t it be reached from there? It wouldn’t really make sense for the water to be reaped too since it is constantly moving?

Then why didn’t Alaric just enter using a gatestone like Numair? He obviously would have been able to subjugate the entire country by himself?

For the writing style I see the vision but it just feels a little clunky

I am really enjoying this rich world Manus has created. Plus, the level of character development she has in Claire, along with the side characters and her love interest, is unmatched. It all makes me vested in Claire's journey as well as her slow-burning romance.

The pages are flying by with this romantasy! Also, I think I might have a crush on the romantic love interest. Magic is also intertwined in this world, and the MC is a strong distrustful songweaver (think magical bard)
