A lot of reviews are saying the book goes on too long about her childhood and that the same event happens over and over. Maybe it’s the psychology student in me, but I find the family dynamics incredibly interesting. I think it’s interesting she discussed confusion of why her mom would marry her father in the first place knowing his criminal background. Excited to keep reading
