And does every fight have to end with an injury to the face? Cause one or two might still be incidental, but all three fights ending with someone getting slapped/punched/doorslamed in the face? That's a weird pattern.

The book obviously favors dialog and emotion over plot, which is good, but the way how important plotpoints pretty much just appear because the rest of the continuity is so glossed over is rather annoying to me.
